Artist's biography : Loïc Dubigeon was born in 1934 in Nantes into a family of shipowners, it is on our coast that this world-renowned painter spent the last years of his life. After training and starting his career in architecture, he became an artist with a very varied repertoire. In 1963, he received the Paris Biennale Prize, after which he exhibited in France but also abroad. He uses different pictorial techniques and his paintings on various supports (he creates large murals), his drawings, his collages, are in the collections of many museums: Museum of Modern Art in Paris, San-Francisco, New York, Amsterdam, Boston, Vienna… and Dieppe [Car Ferry, 1975 and Falaises à Berneval, 1997]. He is also the designer of Hermès square patterns.
