Biography: Hervé LE BOURDELLÈS was born in 1928 in Paris. He studied painting and drawing in the studios of Yves Brayer and Georges Cheyssial at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Very quickly, he imposed himself in the Grands Salons, he obtained the Gold Medal of French Artists in 1979. Painter of "Poetic Reality", he is interested, in priority, in the light which is the main character of 'a painting. He paints, without attention to detail, family intimacies, landscapes which are not a strict copy of nature, but which he reinvents.
