Artist's biography : Brandon Frédéric is a French painter born January 19, 1943 in Paris. He took courses at the Académie Jullian in 1965, then at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris from 1965 to 1968. He taught drawing at the Lycée Lakanal from 1968 to 1970. For his first exhibition, he exhibited his series of "Cows" at the Salon de la Jeune Peinture and, in 1972, took part in the "anti-fascist collective". Frédéric Brandon settled in Normandy until 1980, and since then in Paris. Frédéric Brandon, close to artists of the Narrative Figuration generation, has dedicated his work for forty years to asking the question "What is painting?" with a succession of themes including the Clowns series. He exhibits his works in all the cities of France.
