Biographie : Jean-Claude Carsuzan born July 12, 1938 in Bordeaux. At the same time as his secondary studies, encouraged by his parents, he presented himself at the age of 14 for the entrance examination for the School of Fine Arts in Bordeaux. Received, admitted, he attended different studios for six years. From 1952 to 1960, he participated in numerous exhibitions and fairs in the Province. In 1958 began a long period of 29 months of military service. In 1961, returning to civilian life, he taught for two years at the Gironde School of Applied Arts in Bordeaux; the same year, he made a study trip to Brittany, discovered Pont-Aven and its region. In 1964, Carsuzan gave up teaching and decided to devote himself exclusively to painting. Since 1983, the Mediterranean basin has offered the artist a source of inspiration. It offers us a serene vision of a harmonious nature. In 40 years of life devoted to painting, he has exhibited and collaborated with prestigious galleries around the world. Indeed, since the beginning of his career, the painter will not stop exhibiting both in France and abroad. Now, Carsuzan's creations find a global audience and he is successful in Germany as well as in Switzerland, Taiwan, the Middle East, the United States and Japan, where his talent has been recognized for more than 20 years. In France, Jean-Claude Carsuzan participated in various fairs both in the provinces and in Paris: Salon d'Automne, Salon des artistes Français, Salon de la Nationale des Beaux-Arts, Salon Comparaison.
